Self Protection
Check or uncheck this box to enable or disable Self Protection. When enabled, the protection will prevent TrustGo from being uninstalled unless you first enter your account password. This is intended to protect your device if it is lost or stolen.
Having Self Protection enabled will also allow you to perform a full factory reset remotely, if you desire. See Last Resort: Backing up and Wiping Data for more details.
Because Self Protection is meant to guard your device against an unauthorized person removing or disabling TrustGo, you are required to enter your account password in order to turn the protection off.
