Using the Universal Unlock Code

How is having a “universal” code safe?

The code is “universal” because, like your account password, it is the same for all of the devices you’ve linked to your account. It is by no means universal across TrustGo accounts, so you cannot use your code to unlock someone else’s device.

There’s no need to save or write down your universal lock code. It can always be retrieved by logging on to your account, or by emailing us at support@trustgo.com. Like your password, it’s an important piece of information, so don’t share it with anyone!
