TrustGo Earns Highest Possible Virus Detection Accuracy From AV-Comparatives

Leading independent anti-virus software testing organization gives TrustGo 98% to 100% detection accuracy 

Santa Clara, Calif., September 18, 2012 – TrustGo Mobile Inc. (TrustGo), a leading mobile security company, today announced that its TrustGo Antivirus & Mobile Security app for Android has received the highest detection accuracy rating in AV-Comparative’s latest Mobile Security Review conducted August 14th, 2012. By detecting 98 to 100% of malware within a test set comprised of 18,021 malicious apps (about 75 main families), TrustGo was one of a select group of security apps with near-perfect or perfect accuracy.

In this test also, TrustGo was found to be at the top of the tested apps. The report also cites TrustGo for its unique features and the quality of the product and website interface. According the report’s authors, “TrustGo Antivirus & Mobile Security is the only product to offer a search for trustworthy apps only. It should be considered by anyone who has security concerns with Google Play.” Other highlights within the report include high praise for TrustGo’s simple installation process and its Device Protection features where the report writers said, “The web interface is very intuitive and also aesthetically well designed.“
